STAR WORLD presents the LIVE telecast of The 51^st Annual Grammy Awards on Mon 9 Feb at 9am. Hailed as Music’s Biggest Night, the prestigious event will be held at the famed Staples Centre in Los Angeles.

Each year the Grammy Awards celebrates the music industry’s most gifted artists. As in previous years, 2009’s star-studded ceremony will feature performances from pop’s biggest acts, including Jennifer Hudson, Katy Perry, the Jonas Brothers and Carrie Underwood.

Among the nominees, rapper Lil Wayne leads the pack with a total of eight nods while British rock band Coldplay scored seven. Hip-hop power players Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Kanye West each earned six nominations while pop crooner John Mayer and alt-rock legends Radiohead bagged five apiece.
